Check-in begins at 3:00 PM and runs until 11:59 PM, and check-out is by 12:00 noon. The lead guest on the reservation must be at least 18. A local city tax of MXN 58.66 per accommodation, per night is charged at the property.
Is there anything I should know about travel dates for the Junior Suite?
Iberostar Waves Tucán will be temporarily closed for a comprehensive renovation from May 15 to November 30, 2026, so plan stays outside those dates. November to April is generally the driest and most pleasant time to visit Playa del Carmen.
Can I bring a pet or drive to the resort?
Pets are not allowed, though an exception is made for emotional or medical support and service animals if you contact Public Relations or the Front Desk before arrival. Free self-parking is available on site for guests.
